The latest issue of Terrorizer, issue #262, came out yesterday, with another excellent plethora of reviewed albums to work through. As always, I like to bring the ones that scored [8] or more to people’s attention. This issue’s album of the month is the new Chelsea Wolfe album, Abyss, which is released on 7 August. José Carlos Santos sums it up rather beautifully:
“And whether it’s broken-hearted sirens calling, whales calling mournfully from afar, a chorus of devils singing as they pull you down or just your inner voice not letting you sleep and not letting you awake either, something from Abyss will stay with you, something from it will change you. And that is a feat that not many albums can claim.”
Including the aforementioned album of the month, a number of the albums reviewed this month either haven’t been released at the time of posting this blog entry or are simply not available on Spotify, but I’ll return to this entry a few times over the next few weeks to try to update Spotify links where possible.

Yeah, sorry, “real life” stuff has sort of taken over my time at the moment, plus Terrorizer is sort of unpredictable these days, so I’m feeling less inspired to keep up with them. They’ve missed a few issues this year and kept remarkably silent about it. Thanks for your comment, though. I hope to be back doing fairly regular blogging again in the new year.
